I would like to take this oppor­tu­nity to announce my endorse­ment of and sup­port for Stephanie Hodges for House Del­e­gate from Dis­trict 32. Stephanie is a com­mit­ted, capa­ble, and excep­tion­ally qual­i­fied can­di­date who would bring a new voice and strong lead­er­ship to the House and rep­re­sent the cit­i­zens in Dis­trict 32 effectively.

The House needs more women to rep­re­sent the con­ser­v­a­tive val­ues of their Dis­tricts and of the state. Val­ues like smaller gov­ern­ment, less spend­ing, lower taxes, bet­ter account­abil­ity, and a friend­lier envi­ron­ment for busi­nesses to bring or keep more jobs in Mary­land. Stephanie holds these val­ues and will work dili­gently to bring them to the leg­isla­tive process, just as she has in her years of com­mu­nity ser­vice. She joined me and 47 other Del­e­gates and can­di­dates in sign­ing the Pros­per­ity Pledge for Mary­land, tak­ing a clear stand on these very issues.

Dis­trict 32 has long been rep­re­sented by peo­ple who have brought us big­ger gov­ern­ment, more spend­ing, higher taxes, less indi­vid­ual free­dom, and huge fis­cal prob­lems. It is time for a change in Dis­trict 32, and Stephanie is the right woman, at the right time, for bring­ing that change. I strongly endorse her can­di­dacy and election.
